From a post in the Hammer Fans Facebook group, it seems the it has the original Gas Mask Core, and will have Aggression Solid as the cover, finish unknown.

Being that it has a spider on it, they’ll sell 68,000 of them the guys who just have to have EVERY widow version known to man.

I absolutely agree. Will I be one of them? Yeah I’ll get one but that’s mostly me working for McCorvey’s and wanting to be able to tell my customers what a ball does, and have a solid compliment to the Pink I drilled on Tuesday.

If it's a solid, it's about damn time!

It's been 4-5 years since the last US-domestic BW solid was released, while they have had 4 released overseas, in the past year (BW Platinum Blue, BW Platinum Blood Red, BW Platinum Orange Sparkle, BW Death Blow). the last one here was BW Dark Legend Solid.

Now, I will say that if what the OP said is true (I haven't been on FB for a while), then with the Aggression Solid cover, it will have the same specs (RG, Diff) as the BW Platinum Orange Sparkle and BW Death Blow. So the demos for those should fit this. The only difference would be the finish, as the overseas balls were Hopkinsville pours, with Abralon.

Regardless, I'd get this over any of the newer asym solids (Aero Solid, Redemption, Statement, even the Rip'D).

Now.. if we only had an equivalent to that BW Purple Pearl Urethane.. and who knows.. perhaps in a Blue Pearl? They wouldn't be that smart, would they?  ;)

You called it. Aggression Solid CFI, at 500/1000/2000 Siaair.

Interestingly enough, this is the same core/cover combo as the Black Widow Platinum Orange Sparkle (overseas). The only difference is the finish (1000 with polish), as well as.. well, let's call a spade a spade, location (Platinum Orange Sparkle is a Hopkinsville pour, while 2.0 is Reynosa).

Hammer just dropped a video on it.

Demos of this are already dropping. Of course, hats off to Legend-Star (Japan) for quickly putting this up with a comparison, instead of just a single ball demo with a couple of shots.

In this case, the finish on the 2.0 is different in Japan compared to here, though it may not make too much of a difference. Finish there is 2000 micro pad, versus the 500/1000/2000 Siaair we have here. Other than that, everything else is the same.

They compared this to the Redemption Solid, which is a good compare (They can't really compare this to the BW Death Blow or BW Platinum Orange Sparkle, as this is the same core/cover combo as those balls, and the BW Dark Legend Solid is 5 years old now).

Now that they have the process down I wouldn't be surprised now if another pearl comes out in February or March of next year.

Question.. does Reynosa have a urethane-only assembly line?
