Title: Black Widow Assassin
Post by: ThomasBowling on May 05, 2016, 08:20:13 AM
At one of the alleys I bowl at people sometimes leave balls they don't use anymore.
Sometimes people pick them up and use them either as their first ball, or just because they want the ball.
There's one Assassin there with no thumb hole.
Is this ball something to collect, good ball?

The ball has no cracks, just the regular signs of usage.

I tried the ball at the alley today. Since I suck at throwing with no thumb, it went very slow down the lane and hooked like crazy infront of the pins.
But when my dad threw it, it went at the same pace as I throw my regular balls at, and then it barelly hooked.
My dad got a lot of rotations on it of course.
So I didn't take it with me home, left it at the alley.

Well I'm sure random people who go to the alley will enjoy the ball. It's been there awhile now, and it's never in the same spot as last time when we go there.
No thumb hole on it. Lots of non-active bowlers tend to bowl without the thumb and use such balls.

I left a Slingshot there some months ago now. Some people use it. Didn't see it yeasterday when we were there, but it could've been somewhere in the alley that I couldn't see into. There's the room with the bar in it where they almost never oil the lanes.
