I heard from someone on staff they are coming out with the Black Widow clear ball. I bet it will sell really well.

Probably will, but with clear balls, it won't be long before the folks that buy them will be disappointed in the looks. Clear balls sure get "bad looking" really fast.

I noticed the clear on the approved list, but assumed it was international...that'd be cool though. I'll pick one up, and i don't even use plastic for spares...looks wise it'd be worth it though. Hopefully they don't change the gas mask core much.

NicholasE,

Not entirely true you can add color to the mix to give it a tint effect. They did that with the gem series many years ago. They could run it a slight shade of black(very light) and make the spider red/Black markings. The lower lustre color would not show off scratches as much either. Personally i would want the spider in gold or chrome with the hammer sign on its rump in Black/red trim.

I think the spider would be black, hinting black widow. Not nessarly the color of the ball.

I heard this ball is going to be heard for Christmas time, so I would assume we would see it by the end of the month.
