This is my first named ball since original Blue Hammer. First off love the motion on the lane and how hard it hits the pocket, but can not carry the 7pin from any angle or hand position. I'll switch balls to my 900 Global Network move a board left ( lefty) and start striking. Network does not seem to roll as well or hit as well as the BW Legend, What do you Hammer heads recommend I do to the BW legend to get it to carry, Thanks

i have a feeling the legend is too early and that is the problem. try taking it to 4000 no polish and see what happens. if you dont have a spinner at home most proshops do sanding for $5 or $10 max

So you are saying taking polish off will make it go longer, I know 4000 is finer then 1000, but it is polished. If it is starting up to soon as you suggested wouldn't an extender polish be a better option. And yes I own a Donkey 2 speed spinner.

I think that the ball is going too long down the lane, which creates a late finish... By taking the polish off, will create the ball to slow down, which will go thru the pins better.... I actually too my Legend down to 800 Abranet & then FF polish on it, and rolls so much better for my game.
Hope this helps...

Bowler 851....
I did not see if you had updated your review of the Global Network but it does not seem that you were really that pleased with your Network in your first review....
See here....

What happened to make it work so much better? More surface from use? More surface from intention?
Thanks,

Just games on it, keep trying to replace it, because don't like how it rolls or hit's. It carries the off hit (light) better then pocket hits. The Legend is way more consistent of a roll, love watching it go down the lane smash the pocket roll over the 9 pin, but leave the 7pin behind. Not bashing legend love it like I said, just looking for ideas to increase carry, thanks
