Hello, I haven't bought a ball in a while and I love hammer. The most recent balls I have bought are the black widow bite and taboo. Which of these would be a better ball. I am a cranker and a full roller.

I'd go with the B.W. Legend. It's more versatile of a ball and they both are built, in my opinion, for the same conditions. I just prefer the B.W. Legend. The B.W. Assassin is not a bad ball at all though. I have both, but I just prefer the B.W. Legend.

the BW legend, for me, is great, but only when i got the surface dialed in to where i want it.
its at 3000 dull now. it has a very slick cover and our THS is pretty tight.
so it went to long at first.
this ball is incredible at the pins, just stores a ton of energy

IMO Assassin, I changed the surface on mine to 300 because sometimes it read the oil too soon and used to energy leaving 7 pins, weak ones and some other it would just dont make the turn in time, by changing the surface, omg.. stores the energy and the realease it like a damn mule!! plus it kill the oil quickly, Im a high rev high and continously have to keep up with transition, today.. no transition at all with the 3000 finish.
Summary:
Stores large amount of energy, can play the inside or outside part of the lane with no problem and more important... nice pin carry with massive back end!
Either ball, you cant go wrong with a BW

It seems like it's pretty hard to go wrong with a Black Widow. I really hope there is a new one coming out soon because then I know what to tip my wife on getting me for Valentines Day :D

Rumor has it, it will be a black widow legend Red, remake of the pearl.

So I'm guessing the cover from the Cold Blood on the
widow core seeing that the Cold Blood was the NBT Pearl
cover.That would be the only thing left because the Legend and Assassin had the NBT covers but solid and hybrid.

If it can handle heavier or longer patterns I'll be first in line for the ball. If not I'd like to see it with a new cover. But your theory does make sense.
