Title: Black Widow Pearl
Post by: TDC57 on January 28, 2013, 03:19:24 PM
How come some BWPs have white lettering and some have yellow? Is there a difference?

I dont think that I have seen one with yellow letters. The one I have has white letters.

I have one with yellow letters. I didn't know they came any other way, but then I don't throw much hammer stuff.

Yeah, I've seen some with white lettering on ebay and in person but maybe it's just polish that they didn't clean out of the engraving?

That would make sense.

Agreed. I knew someone who had a black widow with white engravings due to polish.

I have one that I go for free from USBC testing in 2008 or so.  It was an orange pearl instead of red.  I only found one picture of one and the ad for it was in Chinese or Japanese.

It was clearly an over seas edition, but does anybody know if it had the same specs?

I've seen some Jet Blacks with white lettering instead of red. I think maybe the pigment faded, or just wasn't quality. My OG black widow has white lettering.
