Just wondering out of curiosity......
If the double thumb drilling or plastic ball drilling was used on a vibe more specifically the cobalt vibe, would you get a reaction similarly to the black widow pearl? And if using the surface change of 500 4000, to get the bw solid reaction?
I hear that a lot of people would like to get another black widow (which I see coming back very soon if hammer doesn't get the taboo series going). Besides, I'm apart of the young generation and saw many teens. Entering their 20s throwing the original black widow with success.

I doubt if yo could make a Cobalt Vibe simulate the solid Black Widow.
There's 4 major differences, 3 with the core and 1 with the coverstock.
Solid vs. pearl: while you can often get close with dull/matte finishes, yo will rarely get the same reaction even with the same core. (The closest pearl/solid coverstock was Brunswick's PK 18; theirs were very close in overall performance with most surfaces.)
Core: the BW has lower RG, much larger RG Differential and significant intermediate differential. If it were only one of these, you might come close. With all 3, not likely, especially you wanted a strong reaction from the BW.
Keep in mind that house oil patterns often hide the difference between radically different balls. Usually only sport patterns will spotlight the differences between balls.

As mentioned by Charest, you are trying to get an asymmetric reaction out of a symmetric ball. The core is not strong enough to give you that reaction. At most, a double thumb layout will make the Cobalt Vibe more playable on your drier patterns but it would still be a step down from the BWP.

I have seen many people say the Ransom Demand is very similar to their Black Widow. That would be a better option than a Vibe.

The plastic ball layout is intended to maximize flare for a ball with a pancake core. For balls with dynamic cores the dual angle system will give better reactions. -- JohnP
