Layout For My New No Mercy
« on: April 03, 2007, 08:57:10 AM »

So, I bought a new 14# No Mercy today as an experiment.  I usually throw 16# balls.  I am looking for the most agressive ball reaction possible as I plan to really pick up my ball speed with the ball being 2 pounds lighter than normal.  Any suggestions for the most agrssive layout for this ball?

I have heard alot of rumblings about making sure to use your PAP while laying out this ball, and I want to make sure that the ball works well for me.  My driller found my PAP when I purchased my black widow a couple of months ago.  How should he go about setting this up with my PAP measurment?

Any suggestions or comments on how to lay out the new ball would be greatly appreciated.

The number one layout is supposely the most aggressive. Measure pin to pap
from 4 to 4-1/2 and draw it back to where your span is suppose to be. Put the
HART on your second flare ring. Seems to work good. That's it. Check your Static
weights too.

The #1 Drilling works great for me I like it. I was too trying to get my speed up so I went from 15 to 14(Pain). Big difference in just that one pound. Speed went up yeah but my accuracy is way off I need more practice and maybe a lil polish to get more length to get it to break at the pocket.

Thanks for the input!  I am heading down to my driller in a few minutes to drop off the ball.  I am thinking about going with the #1 drill.  I will let you all know how it goes.

Thanks again for the input!
