black widow bite mini review...
« on: March 05, 2008, 03:38:20 PM »
drilled up the bite tonight. i dont no the exact layout numbers, but my pap is 4 1/2 right and i throw it about 17mph with about 350revs. the pin is above the ring bout 1/2 inch and the cg is very slightly right with the mb about an inch right of the thumb.

this ball is def a keeper in my bag, we have a heavier wet/dry house pattern where i bowl and this ball allowed me to play striaght up the oil for the first game where my gamebreaker would not make it back to the pocket. then in the 2nd game i was able to move 5 and 3 left and get a great reaction out of the widow still, then in the 3rd game i moved 4 and 2 and it just keep trucking. i stasrted about 20 looking 12-5 then i was at 25 looking 15-7 then fianlly ended around 30ish looking 22-23. and it picked up very very nicely in the mids and then the backend is what i loved the most instead of flying off the point like the solid and pearl versions it had the read of my gamebreaker being smooth and very continuous THROUGH the pins.

all in all a very good piece it seems, hopefully it will hold up
