I'll be the first to say that it's stronger than advertised.

It is supposedly a solid, polished.
I have it and the BWP, The Blue Vibe is very strong I would say that is as strong as my BWP on a THS. But I can open up the lane allot with the BWP, where the Vibe doesn't have the power to make the turn like the Black Widow Pearl does.
Mine basically ignores the front 35-40' of the lane, it then just makes an extremely hard arc off the dry. If the backends are dry, it can be alittle jumpy.
This is by far my favorite ball I have ever bought, I love the sight of i flying straight down the lane and just suddenly turning and smashing the pocket.

Blue Vibe is a PEARL ball, not solid, and has good length, with a smooth arcing backend reaction. Stronger than advertised, takes surface adjustments very well. Hard to beat price, and it truly is a great piece to have.

There's been a lot of debate on this in the past. On the Hammer Tech Specs web page, it lists the cover as CT reactive...does not mention pearl. The confusion I think comes in when it lists the color as "blue pearl."

My basic opinion goes like this...if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it's gotta be a duck. For me...it looks like a solid, and acts like a solid...so it must be a solid. Given though, that I am NOT 100% about it. Based simply upon what it looks and acts like for me...my best guess is that it's a solid.
