I drilled 16 of these last night....I think this is going to be the best Black Widow ever!!! It got down the lane with ease and was ultra strong on the back. I've never had a ball turn the corner as hard as the Venom!! Even with the really shiny box finish I was shocked at how strong the ball was! Video coming soon as I upload...You will love the Venom!!!!!

so is the venom going to be a good replacement for the pearl?

I wish we all had the enthusiasm that you have about a ball release, I can have one this afternoon as the shop owner is bringing over stuff to the shop I use.

So it is that good or just more ball hype?? I actually choose to go with the Swing over the Venom but they have both.

I dont think its compariable to the pearl, I think that you will find the Venom would be a little earlier than the pearl and be so much stronger on the back!! Maybe on a house shot they would give you the same kind of look but the Venom being so much more aggressive.

mrbowlingnut - it is that good...i've just played on some higher volume patterns.. 41feet (25ml) and 44 ft (24ml) the Venom with a 2000 finish makes the lane look dry! In comparison to the Bite with the same layout and surface prep. The Bite is much earlier and smoother on the back with the Venom going a little longer and being real strong on the back! Hammerheads are going to love this combo!
