BTM changed their oil patterns recently. So some balls, like the lowline Ebonite balls (Bash, CLash, Boom, SMash), are now rated as dry lanes balls, whereas before they were rated as medium oil balls.

I believe the same situation is true for the new and the old Razyr. According to Hammer, the coverstock is the same, just the colors have changed, to sell more balls, I suppose.

this has been a long running dabate when color have been changed on a ball.. take the jazzs I know a staffer and mine did also.. but the yelloe and orange jaz hooked way more than the rest wtih same drillings and all..

I think these 2 rayzr are very close.. so it is mainly color but if it was a big difference for some people it wouldnt surprise me..
