Jacked Review
« on: November 10, 2009, 04:36:19 PM »
Well I received my new beauties yesterday and drilled up 1 tonight to see how it rolls... It is definately a STRONG rolling piece and it is a ball that I have been looking to add to my arsenal.

I drilled my ball with pin above the bridge & CG in middle of the midline (my PAP is 5 1/4), which I wanted to get a stable drill pattern for me that allows me to see how this ball rolls. I have an Acid with the same drill pattern that I use A LOT (500+ games) and I can say that this ball for me was about 8 boards stronger than my Acid at box finish. The Jacked rolled a lot earlier than the Acid with a strong, yet controllable backend movement. THS that we bowl on at South Point Casino is about 39 feet and I tried to play in the oil with this ball (4-5 arrow) on the early 7pm league, but it was too strong for THS. This ball definately needs oil to perform at what it was designed for heavy medium-heavy oil patterns.

Looking forward to use it this Saturday night during our 5 gamer modified house shot tourney (more volume of oil) at South Point and will follow up with another review on Sunday.

From what I have seen so far with this ball... This will definately be a ball that will have a lot of use in my bag for the PBA leagues (Shark/Scorpion) and the heavier Kegel patterns.

Finally got to see this one in action last nite!

Ditto on the review given above. This is a very strong rolling ball. It will most definitely be useful on sport or PBA patterns.

As is, and from what I've seen, you'd better drill it weak if you want to use it on any THS's.
