The DOOM is the best reactive pearl ball I have ever owned.  The hit and carry is awesome.  The only negative about this ball is that it doesn't work well on carry down.  However what reactive pearl ball does?  None of them do(unless there dulled).

Which pure Hammer do you have?  I had a black pure and thought it was an excellent ball.  I wish I still had it.  Very smooth and predictable.  It also hits and carry's the pins well.

I love my doom, its for medium to medium-light oil i would have to say.  It goes long then is very angular to the pocket.  Has great carry!
