Do you think hammer will make something to put next to the viral? It would be nice to see a solid cover on the vibe core.

If they did I would be first in line to replace my Blue Vibe. Granted my still rolls great even after having it for 6-7 years, I've got well over 400 games on it. I've deoiled twice and resurfaced maybe 3 times

Just a reminder that the Burgundy Hammer has a modified Vibe core. This ball is simply a great piece to have in the bag... If the 500 grit is too much, hit it with a 2000 pad, and there is your solid Vibe.

I'm still not sold on the cover the burgundy uses. I just haven't seen enough of it

Agreed on the Burgandy cover. I haven't personally thrown it, but haven't liked what I've seen. Not a very popular ball around my area, and the shops haven't sold much of it. They have, however, sold the Viral fairly well.

I am surprised that one of the new releases didn't feature something that was a successor to the Viral. The Spike Black/Gold goes look like an interesting ball though.

withthe announcement of the new spike and nail i dont think hammer is planning on putting out another "vibe" (viral). but if youre looking for a blue vibe replacement see if you can get your hands on the infrared xr vibe. updated version of the blue vibe and you cant find them on ebay for about the same price as a NIB vibe when they were on the shelf

I agree that there should of been a viral complement somewhere in the new releases instead of a new nail. But i guess thats why i never understood hammers release process and why i dont buy them.

Is the Pink Nail the new nail? I can't find it on Hammer's website.
