Well, tomorrow night I'll be headed to my local pro shop to purchase my first ball. After reviewing several, I think one of the Vibe balls might be a good pick for me. However, I keep reading that they are mainly a low oil/dry condition balls, while the lanes I bowl at are usually medium oil. Will the Vibe series still perform well? I'm also open to any suggestions for other balls, PM me if you'd like.

Yes, one of the Vibes will work. In fact, insince this will be your first ball, I would suggest you get a Vibe, it is a good ball to have as your first. Also, a Doom Raw Hammer would work as well.

I have a cherry and blue vibe. both balls are stronger then many ppl think. Cherry snaps more and the blue is more arcing. Ive never thrown the Doom but i heard its a great ball

one of the vibes would be perfect for a first ball... i would suggest the blue for its arcing capabilities and high level of versatility...

the Doom is also an amazing ball and very versatile and cover change friendly.. a perfect choice for a strong midline pearl....
