I picked up a used Cherry Vibe that has a pretty strong drilling (3 3/8 x 3 3/8), though it is pin up. I'd prefer to leave the drilling the same and just move the thumbhole a bit, but I'm concerned about such a strong drilling on a ball that is designed to go long.
I'm a tweener with average speed and revs, but more forward roll than is typical. Will I get a good result with the strong drill?

the vibe is a very strong ball for what its suppose to be but that drilling shouldn't give you much a problem the ball will get down the lane and it will hook though

Yes, its hard to go wrong with weak...er equipment drilled strong.

Mine has a similar drill and in OOB it goes long but snaps very hard off the dry. I have to move deep inside to play on light oil, and it's too much on dry. Right now I feel like it matches best on medium.
I'd suggest a weaker drill depending on what lane conditions you want to play on.
