I have to agree with ryan i only trew mine a game but it is CHERRY.  Pun is intended.  It is a little sooner than the purple vibe but is a much smoother rolling ball with a ton of power.  It is my benchmark ball on any house condition.  Lefthander no more have converted to the right side due to an injury.  Up to a 180 average in two months.

wow a lot of replies while i was at work...lol...the cherry vibe is great, anymore its hard to find another ball that works on a house shot where we bowl on our friday mens league cuz the lanes are a little drier than most places so the vibe is perfect...by the way i also forgot to say our team shot 3612 SCRATCH!!! and 3800+ with handicap...739 741 745 777 and 612 pretty awesome night of bowling from out team...ironically we are called MONEY IN THE BANK!

Hey Ryan,

You still didn't say how you have the Cherry vibe drilled!

For those that are not aware, the Masters is a USBC Event; not a PBA event.  That is why there was some discussion about Walter Ray and his run at the career title mark as he had won the Masters but was not considered an official PBA Event.  Art Brown made the telecast a couple years back while still in school as well.  Brian Valenta was at the Super Hoinke last year being a collegiate player.  If memory serves me correctly, the rule is that a college bowler CAN bowl for money so long as it is not their "primary income".

Men's college bowling is NOT an NCAA sport. Therefore the rules are different as far as accepting money, i.e. bowling tournaments or bowling league as "adult". Women's bowling is different as many of the women's programs belong to the NCAA. Some however, like Wichita State do not belong to the NCAA but another intercollegiate association. Sounds stupid, but it's like boxing where competing organizations run their own championships. PBA rules are different again in that once you cash twice in the same year, you must become a member if you bowl again. Matt O'Grady is now in this situation and will probably not do so since he is still bowling collegiately. As for youth, as unfortunate as it is, the USBC now allows youth to bowl in any singles event (USA Team Trials, PBA regionals, even the US Open) etc. where prize money exists as long as they sign a waiver so the money can go to a USBC/SMART scholarhsip account. I personally disagree with this as I believe youth should be youth and need to grow up and mature both in their game and attitude, however USBC obviously knows more than me.
