Title: clean Black Widow
Post by: windss on October 15, 2006, 04:17:40 PM
Hi Everyone:
I just got a Black Widow recently. It's great, not too extrem "snap" at the back end, but it's very smooth down the lane, very easy to control.
Anyway, I want to keep the ball well maintained. What kind of "cleaner" do you recommend for the Black Widow?
Thanks

Use Ebonite energiser ball cleaner after each time you bowl. This cleaner is very good it gets all the oil and grime out of the ball and restores the tackyness back into the coverstock.

Same with Track Clean and Dull - does all the right things. Does not change surface prep - keeps the tacky in - oil out. pretty good stuff.

I throw it all, just give me a ball, I'll throw it. =]

i use the brunswick cleaner the blue stuff? works great, and keeps it dull. i also hit it with what ever grit its supposed to be at after every 2-3 sets.
