Title: Cracked!!!

I bought a Vicious Strike last August and put 10 games on it and it cracked from the finger, through the pin, to the thumb ...hardly ever threw it and never been plugged. I wrote Hammer and they said since it was discontinued, they need me to ship it to them to see if they'll replace it or not...

Not sure, but it has not been a year since I bought it, so I think it should be replaced. I know they can't give me another, but I would love to maybe get a Toxic or something worth less, because the cracked ball is worth nothing.

If it doesn't get replaced, I will probably be done with Hammer. Back when AMF was AMF, they replaced a cracked ball within a week, even though it was discontinued.

You will need the receipt where you bought the ball as they (Hammer) will need proof of the date you purchased it..

Also, who knows where and how that ball was handled prior to you getting it. I think the place you bought it from should be responsible, not the manufacturer..
