Hot Sauce Solid Reviews?
« on: June 18, 2009, 03:39:51 PM »
Has anyone thrown the Hot Sauce Solid that is being sold at Nationals.  If so, please post some mini reviews.  From talking to Hammer, this ball is only being sold at Nationals and they have no intentions yet for a full release.  A good friend of mine is full staff, and they didnt even send him one.

I have some friends that have yet to go and would like to give them a good idea of what the ball will do.  Hammer says it is longer than the Solid with the back end of the Pearl, like the Rouge is to the Cell line.

So lets hear it, if you purchased one, post up a mini review.
Thanks

I saw a guy throw it in a league Wednesday night. Did not look good at all. He had it pretty dull and it hit like garbage. I only saw 4 shots he threw, but I will say that the colors are pretty sweet.

I drilled the Hot Sauce Solid just like my Sauce, the Solid is much sooner, but much more continuous than my Sauce. The Hot Sauce Solid seems to roll harder than my Sauce too. This ball needs quite a bit of oil in order to reap the full benefits. The Hot Sauce Solid definitely does not lack hitting power, but if there isn't enough oil for it to work it will burn up much like any other dull/early rolling ball.
