current lineup: no mercy, bwp, and cherry vibe. No matter what release i use and how deep i play the ball still hooks either through the beak or goes completely brooklyn. I need help!!!! any suggestions would be helpful.

have you ever tried a reverse layout it will go alot farther down the lane and it will weaken the reaction on the ball.

I have a roto grip Neptune with the pin one inch from my axis and it is an excellent ball for toasted lanes.  I keep Track delayed reaction on it.  The layout is super smooth and easy to control.

My blue and cherry vibe are not dry lane balls.  They are close to my widow.

I have a 14lb Pink Hammer up for sale on eBay right now:

its probably going to be one of the mildest reacting balls (outside of plastic) that you will find.

IMO if you need a true dry lane ball, do not get a reactive ball. Go with a urethane. I have have 16lb NIB Scout Hi-Flare Urethane FS if your interested PM me. Hi flare core with durable urethane cover that can be sanded or polished.
