Drilled my Hawg Wild And Doom
« on: October 13, 2005, 05:51:00 AM »
First off I want to say these balls roll and look real good. Here's the skinny I how I layed them out and here a little about me.Im a cranker rev rate around 300+ and my axis is 5 3/8> and 5/16 down. And I throw the ball about 15-17 mph

Hawg-5'/75/Pin aprox 3 1/2 in of my midline.I left this ball out of the box, with no xtra hole.I threw this on a fresh house shot...pretty easy shot anyways this ball is everything that its said to be>This ball gets down the lane and really comes around pretty hard...for anyone thats thrown a terminal velocity they seem allot alike. The hawg wild definitely changes direction more drastically then the hawg...Good job hammer.

Ok now to the doom.I drilled this as a 5 1/2 / 90 / pin over my ring basically this ball feaqtures the vibe cover with a new weightblock its a very simple looking block.check out the site for the spec's.This BAll gets through the front real well and has a good kick to it.I dont think anyone could go wrong with these 2 balls they are a great addition to the hammer line.

I drilled mine and I agree with yourreview of the Hawg Wild and Doom.  The Doom will be perfect for medium to light oil conditions.  As for the Hawg, I think with the right amount of polish I can use it on many conditions.

Yep, threw mine in league last night.  WOW

Doom-  5" Pin IN ring finger.  I new this ball was aggressive off of the dry, so I drilled out the pin with the ring finger.   75* layout.   This ball is going to be an incredible addition to the Hammer line.   Ball is very clean through the fronts AND mids, then booms off the dry.    What a great ball for THS.  Also had MANY compliments on the appearance of the ball.   I may have sold 3 just last night for the pro shop.

HAWG wild-  5.5" Pin- Above fingers  60* layout  1/2" X hole  2.5" deep 1" past and 1" up from PAP.   This ball is just as sweet.   This ball went just as long as the DOOM, but was not quite as jerky off the spot, but still very aggressive.  The ball made the move in a VERY hard archy way.   Ran the front 7 with this ball the 1st game I threw it.  I missed out and left a big split, then punched for 265

Has 719 while playing with the new stuff.  TOO BAD.
