Title: Dry Lanes = Blue or Purple Vibe?
Post by: Wallshot on November 23, 2006, 08:28:07 AM
Would the Purple Vibe be better for drier conditions than the Blue? Thanks!

The PUrple Vibe is a excellent ball for drier lane conditions I have one drilled with pin over my ring                                                                        finger to go long I put the mass bias at 90 degrees so ball has a smooth arc and when the Vibe hits the ball crushes the pins.

Good to know. It's funny though that the purple goes longer yet the blue has a lower differential; must be the coverstock difference, eh?

Drrev 2000 If you turn the ball hard and have good revs redrill your blue Vibe with a 135 mass bias layout. This will make the ball get down the lane where the Vibe will set up in the pocket and still hit very hard. Ask your proshop driller see what he says. On dry lanes this 135 degree mass bias will get to the pocket and set up no snap no arc just set in the pocket works great on dry lanes.

My friend has both and the Purple is the one you wand for dry. The Blue Vibe rolls up earlier and alot stronger.
