Dusted off my Absolut Curve and Wow
« on: February 02, 2015, 01:58:46 PM »
I gave my Absolut Curve to a friend back in July/August and he hadn't really used it much the past few months so I decided to take it back before buying a new ball and experiment a little bit.

Put in a new set of grips last night and shot 256-248-256/760. If I didn't ring a few 10's or had a couple messengers carry a 10 I would have shot 800. Ball is drilled approx. 60 x 4.5 x 40 with a small x-hole in the thumb quadrant. Revs up hard in the midlane and no quit in the backend.

I'm almost considering getting an Absolut Flip now to go under

Not only made my day, but filled the hole I felt like I had been missing lately.

Lately my Virtual Energy has been great, but sometimes it can be a bit too angular and what I have under that is too weak. Absolut Curve is strong on the back but not quite as angular as the Virtual and is still able to handle some volume

I bought an absolut flip just as a pearl piece to have just in case, and man does it perform. I was considering trying an absolut curve to see if I was missing out on something. I used the flip last week shot 651 with it on a whim and book i'm a sub 200 avg bowler..though this year I have been hovering around low 200's. I like flip and I'll more than likely hang on to it for a while. I did have to take some of the shine off it though.
The difference between Ordinary and Extraordinary is that little Extra.
