What's a Taboo Limited worth?
« on: April 08, 2013, 11:45:40 PM »
I just saw one sold on eBay for 400 buy it now and 30 to ship. Now there's one listed for 350 opening bid and 25 shipping.

Why do these Reno specials sell for so much money like the hot sauce solid.

I also saw the black chalks go for over 500 on eBay with the white ones from 350 and up.

Overseas releases are sold to distributors typically at the same price as everything else. Quanity available determines possible value. Many were sold through the Hammer booth online and available through cliffbarnes proshop for less then $200 shipped. Many dont realize that and think theres is special and worth more. Most think that only small numbers were made ect but they are typically just overseas releases with few getting left behind for this market.

The Chalk was made available here through TNBA to anyone that ordered them. The black Chalk was an overseas release. There is a market for them if manufactures choose to make more of them available in the U.S. many are more appealing then the ones they do release here. I think the market isnt strong enough here over all to keep up like the ones overseas.
