so one of my coworkers was trying to get me to visit his fathers proshop, well i did last week and noticed they had a cobalt vibe in stock for 110$... and i was like ohhhhhhhhhhh
so a couple days later i text my coworker about it and he tells me its only a 14lb... but they have a grape vibe in 15lbs... i ask about how much i can get it for... and he's like ummm how about 70$ drilled......... i couldnt say yes fast enough..
so i got it drilled up tonight, and while dealing with his father was interesting to say the least, i got a ball at a steal... on the flip side, it also made me remember to never let the creeky old man who works in a pro shop drill up a ball...
i almost bolted when he tried to tell me the ball didnt have a mass bias... and when i told him i wanted the cg to be about 4inches away, he was like so like this......... and swings the CG way to the right... and i told him umm no, 4 inches from my pap.. and he's like ohhhhhhhhh so like 1 inch from your midline...
anyways,,, needless to say once the ball was drilled up i took the ball to another proshop so i could work on the thumb and fingers... lol
so while i was at the other proshop and working on my thumb and fingers, i got to talking to one of the guys there, and he's like yea the owner has 3 nib cherry vibes... and there they was in the shop...plus he had a undrilled Invasion too lol

as a lover of all things vibe thats awesome. after searching for 7 years for something to replace my blue vibe as a house shot killer, ive come up empty and drilled 2 more since then. can someone please sell me a new or barely used blue vibe for under 150? lol. just need a emerald, midnight and grape to have all the production vibes and the only one i wasnt super impressed with was the cobalt. between the blue and cherry ones im throwing now im averaging in the 230s with them this year lol. one of the great cores in history that should always be in one of the current line balls.

The new Viral has the Vibe core in it as well.

i got 2 infrareds actually. was planning on selling one but after the lack of demand i may as well just drill it. im planning on drilling the first one once this blue vibe dies.
i want to drill a viral as well but i just dont bowl enough to just it lol. im starting to get back into tournament after a few year lay off but even then i have my arsenal set lol.

So if the proshop owner had 3 NIB CHerry Vibes, were you at Nottke's in Battle Creek, Mi? That was the last place I saw NIB Cherry Vibes (of course he said they were NOT for sale...)!

SO here is a bit of a update, since i've had my Grape Vibe My lowest series has been in the 630s...
the ball is a serious house shot killer... just is smooth through the front and makes a nice strong turn on the backend..
Now here is a giggler lol... So after monday and bringing my Hammer ALF, i was like mmm my thumb hole feels weird, which i kind of thought it was off after i put enough tape in it to fit my thumb lol...
So i bring it into the pro shop, and have the owner check the thumb hole in the vibe vs the ALF...
The vibe was so off that it was laughable...... the Pro shop owner Jeff was like, so do you ever hang up in the ball if you squeeze it? and i was like yea, i totally have to keep my hand loose and not grab it in my back swing or on the release or i throw it like crap lol.....
But i even told him, for as off as the thumb was i've been bowling really well with the ball lol.....
