No Mercy Drilling layout
« on: February 25, 2008, 07:38:28 AM »
I am a righty and dont track high.    my span is 4 1/8.  I have a no mercy with a 4 inch pin. the hart on the no mercy is misaligned by almost an inch to the right.    Is it still possible to drill the no mercy to be aggressive?  how does the hart placement affect the motion of the ball?  whats going to happen if i dont put the hart on my track?

I had a NO MERCY with the CG off set to the left of the pin/ hart.  I put the pin above the bridge and HART left of thumb in my ball track.  The ball had almost 1oz of negative side weight.  The negative side weight didn't effect the reaction at all!

You should be able to place the HART in your ball track with the CG off set.  You can go to almost 1oz of negative side weight and still be legal!

With this ball it's wise to place the HART in your ball track (left of your thumb if your a righty).  Just make sure to place the pin according to YOUR pap.  Don't place the pin any closer than 4.5" from your pap.  If the pin is put into a position stronger than 4.5" you take a chance on not getting that strong backend reaction this ball has to offer.

Sure. Place the Heart about 1 1/2-2 in left of your thumb, the pin will probably fall to the right of your ring, but just use a 4 1/2-5 in pin/pap.

If you want a strong arc, that's easier. pin 4-5 in pin/pap with the Heart 3 in right of your track. It'll probably end up right of your thumb, but that's how it is designed. My wife had this on her NM and it was killer for her.
