For people that have a Rayzr

What do you have the surface at and where did you put the pin in the layout? I hit mine with 4000 abr to take the shine off and drilled it per instructions at 3/4" over and 3/4" up from grip center. I'd like to hear from other people about their layout and surface. Wondering how versatile this ball can be.

Mine has a nice smooth arc and no jump. Seems to work best up the outside. Excellent ball to have in the bag.

I believe the RAZYR has the strongest reactive cover ever used on a three piece ball, and therefore should give a strong read of the dry lane once the oiltrack on the ball has been depleted.

How much stronger do you think this cover is than a Scout ?

I don't really know, but, here is a direct "cut&paste" from hammers website:

"Slice the competition with the new Hammer Razyr! Razyr offers bowlers a 3-Piece core construction with our new Recoil Reactive coverstock- the most aggressive coverstock ever put on a 3-Piece ball. Hammer Razyr offers exceptional length with moderate backend movement on medium-dry to dry oil lane conditions.

Since hammer RAZYR is made by Ebonite, as well as the new, three piece scouts, I would guess it would be quite a bit stronger, but that is only a guess.
