How's your Hammer arsenal working this season.
« on: October 10, 2007, 08:02:51 AM »
I have not been on here very much the last month or so.  I was wondering how everyone's scores have been this season with their Hammer arsenals and or equipment?

My arsenal this season is 2 Angers, 1 Doom,  plus a plastic spare ball.  So far the equipment has been working very good and am very pleased with the Anger's.

Both my Anger's and Doom have the same exact layout which is pin 3 3/8" from pap, CG stacked and a balance hole 5" right of grip center on the mid-line.  One of the Anger's is in 2000 grit box condition and the other is 4000 grit and polished with factory finish.  My Doom is box condition (factory finish).

My Doom and polished Anger are very close in reaction.  The polished Anger has a bit more snap on the back end.  Since these two are so close in reaction i'm going to put my Doom in retirement.

The cover on the Anger is just awesome.  When polished it gets a lot more length than in box condition.  I'm able to cover a ton of conditions with just these two balls.  I bowl on tough lane patterns at league and the Anger seems to be a really winner on these tough patterns.  I'm considering getting a 3rd Anger, it's that good of a bowling ball!

So how's everyone's arsenal (Hammers) doing?

my hammer arsenal is working just fine for me

pain
doom
vibe

today i shot a 246 with the pain in my first college tourny.  followed by 2 games not so good 189, and 172.  didnt use the vibe to day but yesterday when the doom was gripping the lane too soon i switched to the vibe on the same line and it worked great.
