Doesn't the Bad Ass already have the same cover/core?

If I had a nickel for every time I have heard that, 'recently'...

Me too! I'm not buying the sauce though.

And the Bad Intentions looked really good last week at a local seminar. It won't "hook off the lane" but it should be great for medium heavy patterns.

not the same as a GB2, this has a stronger cover than the GB2
The BAD intention is far stronger IMO

So after watching the video a little more closely and watching the reaction guys are getting at the Masters this week... I think Hammer might have nailed this one. The Bad Ass has never been really impressive, but the core/cover combo on the Bad Intentions looks really good with the Juiced Extreme

What's persuaded you about the ball so far?

Probably the strong smooth move it makes while retaining good energy through the deck. I know at a seminar a few weeks ago it looked great! Should be a great compliment to the BA.

I was very curious about this ball when I heard about it & saw it in action during the seminars (did not throw it at that time)... but I have had it for about a week now and really impressed with the strong, yet smooth motion this ball has. It is stronger (earlier) than any Hammer ball to date, yet retains enough energy down the lane to still come back from deep inside..

A lot of EBI staffers have used this ball this week during the USBC Masters tourney & most love what they see in this ball. Think this ball will be something to have in your bag if you need a strong rolling piece (This ball is about 5-7 boards stronger overall than the Gamebreaker 2).

I will be posting a review after the weekend, bowling on the Chameleon pattern on Sunday.... Let me know if you have any questions about this ball or any other Hammer products.

This is what I've seen so far. I have a Cold Blood that is very hit or miss at almost every surface I've tried. The one problem that seems to persist is energy retention

Yeah, I think the Cold Blood was a hit/miss for a good amount of bowlers... The coverstock was a little too strong (early) for that core and never retained the energy... The last few stronger coverstocks that we have made has been cleaner in the fronts & offer a stronger midlane continuous motion that bolwers want.  I would really give the Bad Intentions a try, you will be glad you did. This ball is THAT good!

I'm still hoping someone does a good comparison between the Cold Blood and RWL. If they don't stack up too well, I may be looking at the BI instead of the RWL..

BL.

I don't think that the B.W. Widow Red Legend will be a reincarnation of the Cold Blood. Obviously the differences in core shapes and numbers, but they were designed for different purposes. The Gas Mask core though is very versatile and seems to match up well with the NBT coverstock. I think it's going to be a good ball and probably a more direct descendent of the original Black Widow Pearl.
