First night with the Sauce
« on: October 16, 2008, 03:25:25 PM »
Got my Sauce punched up for Thursday night league. Went with a 3 3/8" stacked leverage, OOB surface. Same layout as my Anger also.

This ball is about 5 boards stronger than my Venom, starting out on our fresh THS. Has a very nice roll, sets up good, and drives hard. Hit the pocket the whole first game, and it carried very well. I missed out a few times, and the recovery was pretty good. Like any other ball, throw bad shots, you pay for it. Shoot 232.

I don't throw my Anger at our house because the shot doesn't call for it. I usually use that for tournaments only. I kept the Sauce out the entire second game, but should have put it away after game 1.

I had to really move left, and play across the middle to find any oil I could for it. This ball is a pretty strong piece, and I'm anxious to see how it stacks up with the Anger side by side to see how they do compare.

It's only 2 games with the Sauce so far, but it looks like it's perfect for what I wanted it for, and want it to do. We got to the Tulsa Open in a week, so we'll see how it fairs on a heavier shot, and I'll post more after more games with it.

Sounds good, post us an actual pic!
