what grit do you guys sand your ball down too?

lanes were very oily, sanded it down to 1500 micromesh, which is supposed to be equivlent to 400grit?

anybody else use micro mesh?  and how low of a grit can you go?  ball was still barely hooking,  compared to previous weeks, was getting monster hooks.  i have a BWP

BWP is not good for super oily lanes. I would use a solid or particle balls. I use abralon pads any where from 500 to 4000 grit.
