Hot Sauce video
« on: February 07, 2009, 09:02:39 AM »
Has anyone seen the Hot Sauce video on Hammers website? They compare the Hot Sauce and the Sauce. I'm sorry but I don't see much if any difference.Anybody else see any?

The camera angle used for the majority of that video isn't going to illustrate the length differences between the two balls very well.

On a THS, you're right, these balls are very similar in reaction, with the hot sauce (naturally) getting a bit more length.  On heavier volumes of oil is where the real differences come out.  The sauce will handle a heavier volume and allow you to open the lane up a bit more.  The hot sauce will force you a bit straighter on tougher patterns.  I'm not a fan of hammer by any means but these balls are pretty good

I picked up a Sauce in October. Last year I averaged 206 at this house but this year was struggling at about 185 until I got the Sauce. Back up to 205 with about a 214 with the Sauce. 742 last week. Needless to say I'm very happy with the ball.

I have two sauces including a highly polished one drilled identical to my Hot Sauce, the Hot Sauce is cleaner and sharper angle off the spot.

Enough of difference to have all three well yes and no, being I am a fan of the Hot Sauce already for me it was good choice.

If you have extra dough get it otherwise going with something else, btw it has alot less midlane than Venom.

GT - I have a sauce and a hot sauce and both are drilled exactly the same.  The react nothing similar on THS.   The Hot is SO much longer and more angular!  The sauce is even polished.  These 2 really compliment each other.  I don't have them similar at all.
