I just picked up two Hot Sauce Solids from Shawn at the Hammer Booth over the weekend in Reno. I just drilled them up today with my two favorite layouts. I'm going to test both balls out tomorrow probably on a fresh Shark Pattern. Has anyone drilled one of these and compared it to any other balls? Please let me know. Thanks.

For me the Hot Sauce Solid is not as early as the Jigsaw and not as Sharp of a motion on the back end for me as the Jigsaw Corner. I absolutely love mine, drilled it up last week and haven't really put it down yet. It hits like a truck!

Monster, whats the verdict? which one rolled better, i have one undrilled yet, i was waiting to see others first.

Well i just got my back from practice. We had the Shark pattern
put out. It was very challenging. Both Hot Suace Solids performed
great. I had to play tight and straight. The pin down reved early and had
a nice smooth continuous arc on the backend. I played 15 to 12. It was awesome.
The pin up reved early still but had more backend than the pin down. I was able to move a 2-1 or 4-2 left of where i was standing for the pin down. I compared the Hot Sauce Solid with the Full Swing and Onyx Vibe. The Full Swing and Onyx is longer than the Hot Sauce Solid. I threw the same line with each of one. You can see the big difference where each ball starts up going down lane. Also i had each ball with the same surface.
My test with the Sauces will be this week when i start my summer league. I am curious how each will roll and finish. I will do an update later this week. I agree with Shawn at the Hammer Booth that the Hot Sauce Solid has a better finish than the original Sauce. Hammer definitely should of came out with this ball to put in their line up. It would of been a great addition. --------------------

I just drilled one up and used it yesterday on a THS with a little more oil volume on AMF HPL lane surface.
I kept it at out of box 2000 abralon finish, went with a 70 x 4.5 x 20 layout. I could get away with putting the pin high because I had a loger pin ball.
Motion was a strong midlane read with a very smooth and controllable backend. I was suprised I was able to use this ball from the fresh to the burnt up stuff and it never died down on the back.
This is something I will be able to use on most of the more difficult patterns by just changing my release a little.
Definitely a great buy for whoever is interested in buying this ball.

I just got a case of them and drilled one up with my fit that will also accomodate Switch Grip for try it before you buy it. I drilled it up 70/5"/33 so I am glad to hear that a similar layout looks good.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I tweaked my back last week and so have yet to have a chanceto send it down the lanes. But I really can't wait.

Drilled mine 60°X4"X25°. The ball is really good in heavier oil. Going to drill another one pin down.
One thing I noticed is that I don't think the ball is PBA Approved. I would check that out before anyone uses it in a PBA Regional.
