How heavy is the THS shot? Medium, medium-light, medium-heavy?

I would recommend the Ratchet for the fresh & then the Wrench for the transition. They make a killer 1-2 combo! The Wrench is a great rolling piece for the medium patterns!

The Wrench will give you something that is going to be a little more versatile overall and slightly less of a gap than the Nail.  Definitely agree with the Ratchet on the fresh.

The new Arson Hybrid is almost as strong as the original from what I saw in the review videos.  But, it is still going to have less overall hook and a weaker cover than what you'll have in the Ratchet.

Big difference between both is that the Wrench will be a 100% pearl cover compared to the hybrid on the Arson.  The overall FCC ratings are the same at 19 from what the Hammer site says.

If you go with the Arson Hybrid, I think it's more of a transition ball.  Start with the Ratchet, and as the pattern starts to blow up, move down to the Arson Hybrid.  Then from that point, ball down as needed.

It just depends on the type of reaction you want.  Do you want a smoother reaction with the hybrid cover or are you looking for more skid/snap with the pearl?
