Anyone change the cover of the low flare solid?
« on: December 12, 2015, 10:21:31 PM »
My dad bought one for something more predictable on dryer patterns, but when the lanes dry up enough that he wants to use this ball, it is way too early. We are thinking about taking it to roughly 4000 with polish. Does it still retain smoothness, but with increased length?

Since the pearl does retain its smoothness when polished, I'm sure the solid will also.

sounds like you need the original ALF
I love mine with 2000 + polish, great for the burned up fronts
