4" pin to pap above ring(should be with your pap)
3 1/2" mb to pap, or about a 45* drill.

The Bite seems pretty layout friendly. Great ball, you should really like it's reaction. For me on my first one drilled pin over ring, cg kicked right, MB 2" right of thumb, 2000 abralon cover, the ball gets some sharp angle at the pocket. It handles a fair amount of oil, but my Anger covers anything heavy that I come across though.

I have a picture of my Bite (and everything else) in my profile. Easy length and a big predictable arc in the back.

not huge backend
and ok hook

Mine is drilled almost like Strider's (my pin is a little closer to my ring finger, though). Like you urbanshaft, I wish it was a little more aggressive. It is by far my tamest ball after my Cell and Twisted Fury. All the reviews and hype I heard about the Bite was that it was the greatest, most aggressive ball ever! I don't hate it...it just isn't the first ball out of my bag!

Too much length, too little hook, too little back end...?
These are 4000 grit OOB, so a slight dulling (2000 or 1000) might make the come to life if you're seeing too much oil. If it's hooking early or burning up, add some polish.
I threw mine 1-2 games on some old wood lanes when I got it (where the pro shop is located). The first game or so, I wasn't real impressed. Length was fine, but didn't see the back end I was expecting. I was ready to chalk it up to the old wood until I threw it more. After another half game, it was hard to give the ball enough room. On my two synthetic lane leagues, I'm getting the movement you'd expect out of a Black Widow. Not a very sharp back end, just a big sweeping arc, but I did drill mine relatively weak. Plus I bought mine more as a tournament arsenal ball. Something for between my Storm Tour Power and MoRich WMB. Something that will handle some oil, but will have more back end than the WMB.
