NIB Diesel Particle....opinions on drillings
« on: June 04, 2008, 03:19:43 AM »
Found a NIB diesel particle in 15lbs.  Always wanted one so I picked it up.  What drillings worked best with this ball?  How strong is it compared to the balls being put out today?

hows about you sell it to me. lol, that is about my favorite ball of all time.

I am a man of simple drillings, nothing fancy, nothing exotic. I'd say stack it!

I had two drilled up.  One was label (pin to right of ring and CG in the palm) and the other was pin to right of ring with the CG kicked out.

Of the two, I really preferred the label drill.

That ball was money for me with a simple 1:30 label leverage drill.

I have 1 season on my 15lb Diesel Particle (which I got off ebay NIB) and had it drilled stacked leverage with the pin just below the ring finger, and later added a small weight hole 2 1/2" below my PAP on the VAL.  I took the surface down with a green scotchbrite and hit it with a very light coat of Beans Sauce.  This ball has been awesome for me, both on slick house shots and on tournament shots, and seems to always turn the corner, and compliments my Phenom Unleashed when the PU is not strong enough.  Very reliable.
