What ball would you produce? Whether it be a No Mercy Pearl, Pearl Bite, maybe a different Raw Hammer ball...or maybe an true dry lane ball? lol. Just curious.
For me, I'd love to see a pearl version of the BWB...and maybe a Vibe that I could play on dry lanes lol. Plastic cover? lol.

I would produce a ball called the Carrier...with a picture of me on it...because it's my last name...and it would hook the entire lane, because I have no hand....and it would never leave a 9 or 8 pin because I do all the time...and.....it would cost $400 and people would buy it....because it has a core the shape of my head, which carries everything.
Remember..you asked if I called the shots

Vibe with a plastic cover.
Bite with a pearl cover.
Maybe a plastic ball with the Gas Mask core.

I'd really like to see a Pearl No Mercy.
And then the other two would be say pearl urethane or something that effect as a cover on the vibe core for dry lanes.
And finally I wouldn't mind seeing hybrid cover Raw Hammer ball.

K-Dawg77, best idea I have seen you post in a LONG time !
CT cover with the Toxic core would be a killer ball. ( Bright red/green color )
Vibe with the same Tuff's cover and the V2 core no flip block. If that was done the Diff should be close to the old V2 Dry: .004 and that, IMO would be the perfect spare/dry lanes ball.

Thanks Roger. They're few and far between. More like moments of clarity! LOL
I really like my Blue Vibe and the reaction of the cover.

I would really like to see a NO MERCY pearl (violent comes to mind).
I would also like to see if Ebonite could buy the rights for the 3-d off set core. A remake of the Violet 3-D HIGH REV OFF SET would be awesome!
They made the HIGH REV but that's not the same ball. If they could get the core and do a remake of that ball it would be a huge seller!
-
I am not convinced the Violet 3D is still a winner on much of today's slicker oils. I have one still around though it still is in great shape and treated me....OH so WELL in its early heyday it is TOO even and smooth on today's oils!
I compare it to my awesome Xfactor deuce in the solid Assymetric area and the Violet comes up lacking for me....TODAY!

i would like to see a line of plastic balls like the maxim. more of the raw hammer line. and a true dry lane ball, the vibes are just too strong. a clear plastic ball with the gas mask core or a vibe core would be nice to.

You can make a ball go straight with hand position, speed, and layout. I'd love to see a Vibe with the original Black Widow cover. I still love the Big Blue Pearl, so I also wouldn't mind a Black Widow with a pearl particle, but that will NEVER happen.
-
isnt the black widow bite
just the black widow pearl with no polish

NO! The BWP is a pearlized version of the BWS not the BITE.
-
yea but if u take off the polish on the bwp it hooks more then the solid, and if u polish up the bite it looks almost the same as bwp, seems like the same cover
-
I'd love to see a urethane ball with a core - e. g. the Raw Hammer core, but a Vibe is also O.K. - or a semi-urethane ball like the Pure Hammers. Something symmetrical, not too strong I think this would not only fill a gap in the overall arsenal as a smooth ball for drier lanes, it would also fit well the Hammer brand and its heritage

If I were calling the shots, I would build something that would sell, SO I would get on the epoxy band wagon, build a gas mask core ball with a mild epoxy cover that would cover more boards than anything on the market by about 5-7 boards.
Then I would sneak into the back room and formulate a ball that I would not let others have.. a MILD MILD urethane covered vibe. O yes, revs, control and hit... ahhh thats the rub.
Then MAYBE I would look at producing a gasmask clear spare with full details on the gasmask.. ya know the look of the respirator the whole 9.
-
I'd combine my 2 fav balls, the doom cover with the No Mercy core, #1 layout, with a bright red and light blue cover that would glow purple when cranked down the lane!
-
I have posted this a few times, but they aren't listening. I would make a green pearl particle and call it the ENVY. Pearl particle on a raw hammer core

LL, I think the core with a more current coverstock would more than handle the oil conditions of today. It won't be like what it was before....but that's fine.

I totally agree with the urethane with a high end core. Lane #1 has the Liberator which i'm going to buy! I bowl on tough lane patterns all season and a couple of these patterns are short with very dry backends. Reactive balls on these patterns are just hard to control. This is where a urethane with a high end core will be a huge asset. This type of ball is a plus for tournaments.

If I were calling the shots I would go back to the old company that was making the bowling bags. They lasted better.
