If you could only bring 3 of the same Hammer bowling balls to a tourney, which would you bring and why?
Of course you can drill them different and make cover adjustments.
-
Anger to cover oil with a controlled motion.
Widow to cover everything else
Doom/blue vibe for lighter conditions

Black Widow Solid based on my experience with them...
...but I still haven't tried a doom.

This is actually a tough question for me. Hammer has so many good bowling balls that can work well with cover changes.
Tournament conditions can be any end of the spectrum from heavy to dry. I guess my choice would be the DOOM.
DOOM #1 Pin above and next to the ring 4.5" from pap, cover at 500 abralon
DOOM #2 pin above ring 5" from pap, cover at 2000 abralon
DOOM #3 Pin above middle finger 6" from pap, cover in box condition

3 bites...i guess if it had to be hammer.
-
i would take 3 dooms.
heavy-pin under ring, cg 1 inch out, surface at 800 dull.
medium-pin over ring, cg kicked out, OOB finish.
light-pin over bridge, cg in palm, shined up.

Anger #1 - Label Leverage 1000 grit
Anger #2 - Label Leverage OOB polished
Anger #3 - Pin over the Ring 4000 grit polished
-
3 cherry vibes, but i only need one, Can play this ball on any shot with a little hand and speed adjustment. This ball is money.
-
i dont know why but i would pick the red hammer from the 80's.

3 Bites. Because the ball is very versatile and the covers are pretty strong. It's easier to make a strong covered ball weak than make a weak cover ball strong. In fact, I have 2 BWS and 2 BWB. Those 4 with different covers and layouts give me just about any look I want

Blue Vibe...or Doom, can't decide
1 pin under ring...2000 abralon
1 pin over ring...4000 abralon
1 pin over middle...4000+polish
