I am not a big fan of the choppy motions in some of the videos hammer is doing.  This one looked like it was skipping frames of the film.  Looked to uniform to be my feed or computer.  Just my two cents.

I do really like the comparisons that we see from the videos hammer puts out.  Wide selection of bowlering styles as well.

how is the reaction of the infection different from the jigsaw trap as far as length and strength at the breakpoint? also, if the infection is two parts pearl and one part solid what is the makeup of the plague?

I'm not ignoring the comparison of the Trap to the Infection, I'm working on getting our staffers to post what they see for you guys. The make up of the Plague is two parts pearl (gold/purple) and one part solid (red).

Sorry guys. I've been super busy..... The huge difference you will see between the Trap and Infection is in the mid lane. The Trap is a lot cleaner thru the mid lane than the Infection, which makes the Trap a little too jerky down lane for me, although the Infection has pearl in the coverstock  It still reads the mid lane very well, which makes for a much better ball motion throughout the whole lane. As far as overall hook...I have the Infection 2-3 boards stronger than Trap. I know this is short and sweet but I hope it helps. If you have any other questions feel free to fire away....Thanks

Hot Sauce Pearl would be a little cleaner through the front and midline and a little more angular down lane. The Infection reads the mid lane very well and still continues down lane. With as much energy as the HSP would retain...that ball would go sideways down lane...where the Infection is smoother but still responds to the friction nicely.

I want to say thanks to Jeff Ussery and the folks at Hammer for getting me one of these balls to drill up and play with. I am debating on a drill pattern at this point.

How would the Infection work with a pin under bridge (5-1/2" pin to PAP)  and cg kicked out towards the VAL? I am thinking something like a 60x 5-1/2x 70.

Opinions?

I punch only one ball so far and I have to say that I am really impressed.  The first two nights with this ball in two different houses I shot 740 and 750.  The ball is drilled pin up above fingers, CG static and the MB is next to the thumb hole.  The first house Greenacres bowl has tighter backends and the second house fresher backends.  Started in the track area in both houses and chased it in.  The reaction I have for this ball is very controllable.  Very clean through the front and mids and very smooth and controllable on the backend.  The difference between this ball and the Hot Sauce Pearl is that the pearl is much more angualr down lane, the same with the trap. Between all three balls that have been talked about in this blog I feel the INFECTION is the better ball.
