Web Tour vs Venom Shock vs IQ Tour
« on: January 04, 2019, 09:25:03 PM »
So the web tour came out recently, and I wonder how it compares with other balls with similar specs as above. I have the IQ tour and it works fine in straighter lines, and misses single pins if I bowl out in. Would the Web Tour be a good addition in house shots? Or would Venom Shock be better?

Totally disagree with not able to use on house, Shot 300 with mine the 1st day it was released. Definitely benchmark piece for me
Can I always use it, nope
Had some big sets with it
15.5 MPH 375ish rev
Old beat up high friction synthetics
Definitely not alot of volume
Hit mine with 1000 pad before each league session
I put mine away when the carry isn't so good, its easy to hit the pocket with this piece, carry seems to be better if I get around it a little
But no so good repeating that motion some days
Just my .02$ worth

Older topic by now, but I ended up bringing up the surface to 2000 and it's better for the house shot I have. With the box surface it seemed to be 9 pin madness, or else forcing me so far left I couldn't get it back with a breakpoint outside 10 (stroker here!) and so had to be perfect like a sport shot.

I could even experiment with 3000 to get it straighter like the Triton I want to replace with it, I suppose.
The Future of Bowling: Bowling is a once-popular tavern game played with a heavy ball and ten pins.

I’ve picked up a second WT
Higher pin just to be different than my 1st one
Have it 2000 polished and it continues quite well when playing the friction
