anyone knows the original surface of the ball from out of the box was?  thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure it's 1000 Grit Abralon sanded, but it "polishes" in a hurry with use.  I have one that sits on the shelf. It was an okay ball, but not the best that I've thrown.
