not thrilled with this ball might sell it. was wondering what hammer ball would comliment my black widow pearl.

How about using the original Black Widow as a complement ball?

I would adjust the cover before you do anything else.  Sometimes a cover change is all that's needed to give you a better reaction.

I also agree with Jesse James in that it's probably not the ball.  It's probably where your playing the pattern.  If your not good at playing a swing shot inside then you should practice it.
