cracking
« on: January 08, 2005, 04:59:42 PM »
These ebonite/hammer balls are really starting to tick me off.  I bought the wife a Vicious Attack and its cracked(surface).  I have had numerous ebonite and hammers crack on me.  Whats the deal here? I think I am done purchasing anything hammer or ebonite.

Guys, is your driller beveling the holes around the grips/slug?  If they are not beveled enough, any ball will crack!!

Toon- that is a good point.  Along those lines as well:
1.  how wide is the bridge?
2.  What is the distance from the pin to a hole?

If either of these 2 things are short distances, balls will be much more apt to crack in those areas.
