Black widow pearl drill
« on: July 12, 2007, 08:13:03 AM »
I just bought a new black widow pearl it has a 2.5 oz top wieght and a 2 to 3" pin.  I have a high track with average to high ball speeds, range from 16 to 18 mph.  I am wonder what would be the best drill layout for a typical house shot on synthetic?

Thanks,
Dan

FYI this is my first hammer ball, I was mainly all track before this.  I had one ebonite but its cover died quickly.

I used the same layout as on mine (solid) black widow : 4 1/2" , pin over ring , mb slightly right from the thumb hole (strong position)
I love it; good length with a very strong but predictable backend.
