IS THIS AN EFFECTIVE MED/HEAVY OIL BALL? ANY FEEDBACK?
-
I had one, it is only a pancake weight block, so you better be pretty accurate. I would consider it a medium ball, not a heavy oil ball. It is bad on carrydown.

so if i sand it down and throw med speed it wont cut through the soup?

How much are you going to pay for the ball ? There is much better equipment, that can be sanded, and have a full blown core. Why go to a ball with no weight block, only when the alleys are dry and the power is provide by the dry area. Sure you can sand it, but you can get a 15# Momwntum Swing at buddies now for 95 shipped !

I Like older equipment. i can get it for 30 shippd nib. i hear the old 90's hammers hit harder than anything today. infact i know 2 guys who throw blue and black hammers that average 220+
