This new line of TOUGH balls goes through the most unique process ever brought to a bowling ball. We dip the outer core in a material that overlays an image on the core in a process called Hydro-Grapics. This process allows Hammer to add incredibly unique images to the core to give bowlers the TOUGHEST looking polyester balls ever created; this is a process that is patent pending.
The first TOUGH ball is called Hammerflage, it’s Hammer’s version of camouflage. Take a look at your sample balls closely, there is an incredible amount of detail invested into the image, you’ll be amazed at what you find. The second version a Carbon-Fiber print that makes it hard to believe that the ball isn’t actually made out of Carbon-Fiber, the intricacy will blow you away!
These are NOW available to order through your local pro shops!

Yes! New 3pc spare balls!
I just picked up the true blood a few weeks back and it hooks too much for me to be comfortable throwing at spares. I'll be putting the carbon fiber ball in my bag soon.
-
i got to see one of these a while back and they are awesome looking in person
almost 3D looking graphics, super cool
-
Which one do you think looked better in person, Dave?
-
i really liked them both and im more of a camo guy though.
that carbon fiber is awesome though
the actual ball with the graphics on it is much smaller than you think, then they pour a good inch of the clear around it, gives it awesome depth. the current products by motiv have the graphics right on or very near the surface.
you wont ever get close to damaging the graphics on these
And there are more to come in the future if these sell i bet

Ahhh thanks. I was actually looking for a camo plastic ball a couple weeks ago, and find this to be quite a coincidence. Not going to buy one is until I see a real picture though. The ball always looks way different in person
-
I wonder how the carbon fiber is going to affect the ball and how it rolls.
-
that is just the design which is inside the ball
the cover is plastic, no effect what-so-ever
-
So these are available now? How does the price compare to other plastic balls?

Looks like they'll be priced like the True Blood and the Taboo Spare, $89.95 delivered, from this internet dealer: http://www.bowlerx.com/Hammer_c8.htm (http://www.bowlerx.com/Hammer_c8.htm)

My guess is its something similar to that body wrap they put on trucks and stuff. lightweight, even, and with the plastic cover will should last a long time.
-
It is reasonably priced! Fantastic!
-
What happens if there is a scratch or you need to resurface?
-
The cover is still plastic. The carbon fiber is bonded to the inner core

Hard to beat the Blue Hammer for a spare ball. Plus, added bonus, I shot 2163 all events on a house shot with it. Try that with polyester.
-
I did with a taboo spare
803 series
old wood lanes, little oil
-
It can be done with polyester ( we did it all the time in the 70's ), but the new oils and the volume they put down really make it tough. I remember shooting 793, 760 back to back with a yellow dot at 4th arrow in an old wood house in 1981.

I purchased a last week Carbon Tough Fiber. Looks great. Has the movement I like. But it cracked near the finger hole. My pro took it back and is getting it replaced.
Anyone else experience this?
