Statements, Webs and Pink Hammer so good, why would you want any?

I don't  throw Hammer , but there seems to ne a Pink on every ball return in my leagues. Looks like a good ball

Threw a few Hammers over the years, hated them all. But I got a Statement in June and dang, that ball is good. Went back to my local pro shop, told them I'm missing a pearl, and heard really good stuff on Pink. Sounds like real men throw Pink.

I have the original Statements and Webs. I passed on the Pink Hammer after throwing it extensively at a Demo Days. The Pink was impressive on the fresh, but not so good on the carry down that developed during the session.

Of the Statements and Webs that I have, I find the Statement Solid to be the most useful. The others are OK, but for me, nothing real special.

I've been mostly EBI for the last few years, but that's probably going to change soon. I don't like the increasing direction they're taking of making small tweaks to existing balls and marketing them as the latest and greatest. Yea, I know all ball companies do this to some degree, but EBI is going bat sh*t nuts with the practice.

I've tried a few balls from Brunswick/Radical recently, and I'm impressed so far. I'm happy with the Quantum's, and the New Vapor Zone and Squatch roll really good. There was a time I thought I'd never throw a Brunswick poured ball again, but I'm rethinking that.

The Statement Hybrid, Paradox Red, and the GB3 Hybrid are the first that come to mind. For me, there is too much overlap with the existing balls in those lines.

And not necessarily an overlap release, but the Choice Solid is perplexing. The ball is way too strong for most bowlers to be useful on most conditions. But it was an easy release for EBI, so why not make a few easy bucks?

I understand the ones you said, to me this is the issue with having 4 brands.

Unless you are going to really step outside the box you are going to have pieces from the 4 brands that are the same/similar.

My friend is a EBI regional sales guy and he swears they can handle and do great with 4 brands ( company line I know).BUT, Hammer is the only one that really competes, they are doing better and are moving up in sales with a few others out of the other 3 brands.

But I just don't think you can maintain that many bowling balls and be different enough with all 4 brands and seperate yourself from competetion.

Anyway, just wondering your thoughts on the rehashes.

I have 2 Statement solids; a Gauntlet Fury pearl; a Rip'D pearl and a GB3.

Love the Statements and the GF pearl!! Still learning the Rip'D!

My teammate has the Webs which remind me of the IQ Tour by Storm.

I absolutely hate the pink Widow!! Too over\under on most shots other than the fresh!
I have a GB3 but only throw it occasionally due to other balls that give me a similar look, but are more consistent.

Hammer is putting out some good stuff right now for sure!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!
